To ensure accurate behavior of the BYOD endpoint browser for all BYOD Hosted Demo scenarios, the Internet cache should be cleared before and after the demo.
Firefox v37 +
- Navigate to Tools > Options. Alternately, click Ctrl+Shift+Delete and skip to Step 4.
- Click Privacy.
- Click clear your recent history under History.
- Select Everything from the Time range to clear drop-down list.
- Select the options from the Details drop-down list.
- Confirm by clicking Clear Now.
Internet Explorer v10 +
- Navigate to Tools > Internet Options.
- In the General tab, click Delete browsing history on exit under Browsing History.
- Click Delete.
- Select Temporary Internet files and website files, Cookies and website data, and History from the Delete Browsing History window.
- Click Delete.
Google Chrome v39+
- From the Tools menu, select Settings.
- Click History.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Check Cached images and files.
- In the Obliterate the following items from drop-down list, choose the beginning of time.
- Click Clear browsing data.
Safari for Mac OS X
- Click the Safari menu.
- Select Empty Cache.
- Click Empty.
Safari on the iPad and iPhone
- Select Settings.
- Select Safari.
- Select Clear History and Website Data.
- Click Clear at the confirmation window.
Google Nexus 7 (Android)
Procedures vary by Android device. The instructions below are for Google Nexus, the most popular Android device.
- Launch the Browser.
- Select the Menu button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy.
- Select Clear Browsing Data.
- Select Clear browsing history, Clear the cache and Clear cookies, site data from the list and click Clear.
