Reset IP Phones to Factory Defaults

Cisco IP Phones can be reset to factory default settings. This can be useful when troubleshooting phone registration issues.

IP Phones

Follow the steps below to reset your IP Phone.

  1. From the phone menu, select Settings > Administrator Settings > Reset Settings > All Settings > Reset.
  2. The phone will reboot and register.

Wireless IP Phones

  1. Use the navigation wheel to select Settings > Phone Settings.
  2. Enter **2 from the keypad.
  3. Press the Yes softkey.
  4. The phone will reboot and register.
