Enable Desktop Background

We recommend enabling the background of your local RDP client to provide visual information about the different VDIs you use throughout this demonstration.

There are many RDP clients available for Windows and Mac, however, the steps are for the built in client in Windows and Mac OS X and CoRD. To use another client, consult the documentation for that specific client.

Windows

  1. On your laptop, navigate to All Programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection.
  2. Click Options, and then click the Experience tab.
  3. Check Desktop background, and then continue with your demonstration activity.
