Cisco APIC-EM Network Path Visualization v1.1

Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller Enterprise Module (APIC-EM) is a software-defined networking (SDN) controller designed to orchestrate and manage local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs) composed of Cisco infrastructure. The APIC-EM solution is made up of four applications: Network PnP, IWAN, Path Trace, and Network Inventory. All of these applications can be exposed either from the GUI or a RESTful API.

The APIC-EM Controller’s Path Visualization application greatly eases and accelerates the task of connection troubleshooting by allowing you to verify the path a flow would take through the network. Path trace allows you to also check if an ACL would block the traffic through the network.

Cisco APIC-EM EasyQoS v1

Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller Enterprise Module (APIC-EM) is a software-defined networking (SDN) controller designed to orchestrate and manage local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs) composed of Cisco infrastructure.

A key principle of the Digital Network Architecture (DNA) is automating network service delivery, so that IT can eliminate painstaking and error prone manual configuration, and instead focus on intent based policy configuration that is rendered through a controller. The APIC-EM EasyQoS App provides end to end Orchestration of QoS in Enterprise Networks using Industry standard best practices and at the same time abstracting platform-specific implementation details. Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller Enterprise Module (APIC-EM) is a software-defined networking (SDN) controller designed to orchestrate and manage local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs) composed of Cisco infrastructure. The APIC-EM solution is made up of four applications: Network PnP, IWAN, Path Trace, and Network Inventory. All of these applications can be exposed from the GUI or from a RESTful API.

The Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller Enterprise Module (Cisco APIC-EM) is the unifying point of automation and management for Enterprise Networks. The preferred method for automating the APIC-EM controller is via the programming language python.

This demo is a sandbox environment for creating and deploying python scripts that automate the APIC-EM controller functionality.

Cisco APIC-EM Network Plug and Play v1

Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller Enterprise Module (APIC-EM) is a software-defined networking (SDN) controller designed to orchestrate and manage local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs) composed of Cisco infrastructure. The APIC-EM solution is made up of four applications: Network PnP, iWAN, Path Trace, and Network Inventory. All of these applications can be exposed either from the GUI or a RESTful API.

The Network PnP unifies the configuration process for Cisco switches, routers, and wireless access points. Network PnP’s zero touch deployment aims to provide enhanced, secure and integrated solution for enterprise network customers to ease new network device rollout process or provisioning updates to an existing network. When the newly installed network device is able to discover the Controller (PnP server), the controller creates a database entry for this device that allows the network admin to provision the device with appropriate image and configuration. This capability eliminates manual intervention, saving time and potential errors. Deployment use cases include:

  • New device provisioning (Ad-hoc or Un-claimed device provisioning)
  • RMA
  • New Site Provisioning
