With the current Connected Hotels solution setup, you will be able to provision the Cisco 9951, Cisco 9971, Cisco DX70, Cisco DX80, and Cisco DX650. All of these phones are already defined in the Nevotek VipConnect system. You are not limited just these phone models when working in this demonstration. You can use any other phone model that Cisco Unified Communications Manager supports, but you will have to configure the Check_in and Check_out scenarios first as described in this Show Me How. You must be logged into the Cisco dCloud UI and your demonstration must have an Active status to perform this activity.
- You should have just provisioned the phone in the Nevotek-VipConnect application.
- You should still be connected to the Nevotek Server through an RDP session after Step 2 in the demo guide.
- Create a custom Check-In scenario.
- Open a new tab in the Chrome browser and from the home page browse to Collaboration Admin Links > Nevotek Scenario Manager
- Login as admin with password C1sco12345
- Click the drop down menu Scenario Models and choose Add new record (towards the top left corner)
- Enter the following values :
- Properties: 1

- CSS: CSS_CHECK_IN
- IDLE Timer: 5
- Check the box for Add Update Speed Dial and add the following speed dials:
- Drop down Index 1 and choose Reception then enter 4455 for Number
- Drop down Index 2 and choose Room Service then enter 3344 for Number

- Click Update
Enter the Idle URL, Services and IDLE Timer options only if the phone supports these (99XX models). Otherwise, these will not work and your phone displays an error message as shown below and the services will not work.
- Now you will create the custom Check-Out scenario.

- Properties: 1
- Scenario Type: Check Out
