Multi-Site Configuration for DCNM Managed Fabrics using MSO on Nexus Dashboard v1

Date
April 2021

The Data Center Practice is pleased to announce that Multi-Site Configuration for DCNM Managed Fabrics using MSO on Nexus Dashboard v1 is available on dCloud for Cisco and Partner users in ALL dCloud locations.

This demonstration onboards multiple DCNM fabrics into the Nexus Dashboard (ND) making them automatically available to Multi-Site Orchestrator (MSO) as individual sites. The sites are then converted to managed mode in MSO and baseline infrastructure connectivity for VXLAN EVPN Multi-Site underlay/overlay EVPN peering is configured. Finally an. overlay VRF and network is provisioned and managed from MSO to all the managed sites thereby offering a single point of management.

Cisco Multi-Site Orchestrator (MSO) and DCNM integration enables you to perform Layer-2 or Layer-3 extension of overlay Networks or VRFs between multiple VXLAN-EVPN fabrics that are managed by different DCNM controllers. This compliments the Multi-Site Domain (MSD) functionality already present in DCNM that supports VXLAN EVPN Multi-Site capability between multiple fabrics that are part of a single DCNM controller.
