The Data Center Practice is pleased to announce that Cisco ACI 5.1 with VMware Lab v1 is available on dCloud for Cisco, Partner and Customer users in US East, US West, APJ and EMEA dCloud locations.
Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) integrates with third-party VM managers (VMMs)—such as VMware vCenter—to extend the benefits of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) to the virtualized infrastructure. This Lab explores Cisco ACI integration via the VMware vSphere Distributed Switch (VDS) which enables you to configure VM networking in the Cisco ACI fabric via the VMM integration.
Topics covered include APIC overview, VMM Domain creation, Tenants, Endpoint Security Groups, Contracts, and Connecting a host to the ACI Fabric. This demonstration has been fully updated to showcase Cisco ACI 5.1 working with VMware vSphere 7.0.
